Besaya Cycle lane

The Besaya bikeway is a route which runs between the towns of Los Corrales de Buelna and Suances: it´s 21 kilometers long with almost no slopes or difficulties which makes it as specially recommended for the enjoyment of cyclists of all levels, even for families.

It runs parallel to the Besaya river and goes all over riparian forests and parks: after passing Torrelavega, the river becomes an estuary named San Juan de la Arena and it goes through wooden bridges and small fishing districts so close to the beaches of Suances, a landmark in the regional coastal tourism.

Cantabrian Way offers you the possibility to rent a bicycle, and if neccesary we can also provide transportation for both bikers and bikes to the starting point.
